What Does a Typical Workday Look Like?
Early bird: You start at 6 AM at our warehouse on Slachthuislaan, after which you head to your site with your colleague.
Excavation artist: You elevate digging pits and trenches to an art form. Paving, concrete, and asphalt works hold no secrets for you. You know how to open and close pavements. Excavating a pit, then backfilling and compacting is child’s play for you.
Maintenance champion: You maintain and inspect your equipment to ensure safe operation for yourself and your colleagues. You also maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
Team player: You work seamlessly with your colleagues and project leader to achieve project goals.
Plus point: Mini excavator virtuoso: You operate mini excavators like it’s second nature. Excavation holds no secrets for you – quite the contrary! You dig according to project plans.
Alex is the Infrastructure Project Manager and will be happy to take you under his wing. He’s very approachable and always available for questions. Your colleague Sammy will show you the ropes during your first weeks. This allows you to settle in and receive the support you need to eventually work independently. At Fluxa, we treat everyone with respect and place great value on open communication and honesty.
Fluxa is seeking an experienced and driven groundworker to strengthen our team. You’ll perform manual excavation work (and be responsible for operating mini excavators for various digging operations that require them). Additionally, you’ll carry out earthmoving and excavation work according to project plans. You’ll maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safe operation. Together with project leaders and colleagues, you’ll work towards achieving project goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
